BCBS239 Django

At BNP Paribas in Paris (Grand Moulin – Pantin), I worked as a Python / Django Developer within the CIB / ITO / CLM department, contributing to group-wide data quality initiatives aligned with BCBS 239 regulatory requirements. The mission focused on ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and traceability across multiple reference systems to support regulatory compliance and risk decision-making. As part of an international Data Quality Analytics (DQA) team, I was responsible for extracting and analyzing product and reference data, exploring data behavior through visualization and statistical methods, and transforming insights into actionable quality controls. I designed and delivered a full-stack internal application using Django (DRF) and React, enabling real-time visualization of data lineage, KPIs, and compliance metrics across departments. I automated data validation and reporting workflows by replacing legacy VBA-based processes with Python scripts and SQL pipelines, significantly improving efficiency and reliability. In close collaboration with the Global Data Office, I helped align data governance rules across heterogeneous systems, contributing to a more robust and standardized data quality framework at group level.
